Handmade, environmentally friendly and sustainable jewellery has just arrived.
These stunning handmade necklaces feature tagua beads in shades of purple, forest green, blue, pink and grey on an adjustable waxed cotton cord. Mariuxi and Pablo make these beautiful beads in their small family-run workshop in Santo Domingo de Los Tsachilas, Ecuador. The beads are made from tagua nut, a seed from a palm tree native to the South American rainforests. Tagua is an environmentally friendly and ethical alternative to animal ivory. The beads are then assembled into these beautiful necklaces by Lydia from her home studio in Northern England. Lydia's bespoke jewellery provides business for tagua artisans and donates 10% of profits to charities in Ecuador. These charities support children’s education, building homes, and providing medicines and hygiene products. The necklaces also come in a beautiful reusable gift bag, handmade from upcycled sari fabric. Perfecting for gifting (to yourself or another)! Click here to shop now!
